Sanctuary Friends

Anyone who wishes to use the Sanctuary needs to register as a Friend. Time spent there is free, but donations are welcomed to cover the electricity and other running costs.

To register, please email Sarah Head with your name, address, contact telephone number(s) and a short statement detailing how you think the Sanctuary could be useful to you. Or write to:-

Once your registration is confirmed, you can book time at the sanctuary. Booking details will be sent to you following registration.

Please remember that Springfield Sanctuary is part of Wynyards Farm, a small arable farm in the Cotswolds belonging to Pryce and Marjorie Watkins. It can be reached from the gate beside the bungalow of Wynyards Farm, on the road from Lower Swell to Upper Slaughter. Vehicles can only drive down the fields to the Sanctuary after the hay is cut in July or August and it may become too wet during the winter. Cars can be left in the rick yard across the road. The Sanctuary itself has steep paths in some areas and care needs to be taken on uneven surfaces.
